Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Graphics Modes Unveiled

Sandfall Interactive, the team behind a new RPG game, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, has shared more about the graphics and other key details for Xbox players. Since its first look, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has caught the eye of many with its special story and setting and beloved voice actors.

This RPG will tell the tale of adventurers trying to stop the Paintress, a powerful being who can end lives by painting a certain age on a huge stone. Set to launch on April 24, the game will be part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate from day one. Players can also get it for PC and PlayStation 5 for a fair price of $49.99. As the launch date nears, Sandfall Interactive shares more about graphic settings and other tips for players.

On PC, players can adjust graphic settings from Low to Epic. Console players have a choice between performance mode, which boosts speed, and quality mode, which sharpens the images. PS5 owners will see Pro Enhanced features, though details are not yet clear. Xbox users can now pre-load the game, available worldwide at 12 AM PT / 3 AM ET on April 24.

With unique fights and game features, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 skips a mini-map to focus on exploring. Inspired by franchises like Final Fantasy and Persona, this striking game was developed by a small team of around 30 people, impressing fans since the first trailer. Expect familiar voices such as Ben Starr, Andy Serkis, and Devora Wilde in this RPG.

Though the game's release is weeks away, plans for a live-action film of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 are underway, made by Sandfall Interactive and Story Kitchen. With its dark fantasy vibe, some are excited about the movie, while others think its tale should stay in gaming.
