Hulu has taken fans by surprise with the reveal of Predator: Killer of Killers, a three-episode animated miniseries that dives into humanity's past through the lens of the Predator universe. Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, known for his work on Prey, the series explores Predator encounters across three distinct historical settings. A newly released trailer promises everything fans expect — brutal battles, eerie de-cloaking moments, and those unmistakable Predator clicks.
The anthology spans feudal Japan, Viking-era Scandinavia, and intense aerial dogfights during World War II. Trachtenberg co-directed and wrote the project while simultaneously working on his live-action sequel Predator: Badlands. Last October, he hinted at a non-live-action Predator project, though many believed it would be a full-length movie rather than a miniseries.
While Badlands looks forward to the future, following a young woman (played by Elle Fanning) forming a bond with a rogue Predator on a distant planet, Killer of Killers leans into the historical matchups that made Prey so compelling: fierce human warriors clashing with the galaxy's most lethal hunters.
Predator: Killer of Killers is set to debut on Hulu on June 6, while Predator: Badlands will arrive in theaters on November 7.
