Manx Covid and Flu Jab Walk-in Clinics to Begin

Covid and the usual flu are for the convalescent walk-in baby sessions and non that will take place in various localities of the Isle of Man. Manx Care has stated that both jabs should be received by everyone aged 65 or over, those with other clinical risks who are not yet at this age, and all patients who are staying in care homes, too.

The first session, which will be held at the vaccination hub located on the Noble's Hospital campus in Douglas, is scheduled to start at 10:00 am and run until 02:00 pm GMT and will be held on 15 December 2022. Besides the Noble's session, a number of other clinics are also set up in different parts of the island, such as Peel, Ramsey, and Castletown, and these are to be scheduled within the last week of January. In the southern part of the island, the vaccines will be offered at Morton Hall in Castletown on 24 January.

Paul's Church Hall in Ramsey on 29 January, and at St. Patrick's Court care home in Peel on the following day. Apart from these individuals, adults aged 18-64 who live with their immunocompromised partners and individuals who are the primary care providers for the elderly or disabled during the sessions are also allowed to have their flu vaccines.

The folks are also assured by Manx Care that they can book their time slot by calling the vaccination team. Health care or social sector employees who are the key workers and want to get vaccinated should get in touch with the team to schedule their appointment.
