In the days following the release of the Episode Heresy expansion to Destiny 2, gamers have been slowly but steadily starting to realize the ineptness of other previous sections of the game that were also damaged. Old activities that were first added in Episode Revenant are now fixed and are working as intended. Destiny 2, as a live service game, is continuously being updated. They update the game in many formats, such as hot fixes, seasonal big releases, and the yearly expansion that the developers come up with. Still, the code is frequently undergoing change, and thus it is extremely likely to see bugs popping up every so often.
February 4th was the release date of the Insurrection: Heresy content for Destiny 2, and it seems that both the next year will witness the Dreadnaught and The Nether will be the dominant new episode. The players have the opportunity to play the content for a 1-year period regardless of whether it was the season in existence or not, just as it was done in the previous season cycle. This summer the new season of content entitled Codename Frontiers could be the selected one, supposing that the episodic content of Echoes, Revenant, and Heresy will be moved to Destiny's vault.
Lots of Destiny 2 players are returning again to the game due to the multitude of new additions that followed since then and thus are finding the next episode quite exciting to seek. Quite a few of such missions are now known to be the ones that are supposed to be played completely but can no longer be played anymore. For example, the above-mentioned player is discussing this matter on Reddit, which is a forum platform, and, by the way, is looking for a comrade to Onslaught: Salvation from Episode Revenant by Bungie. The new bugs have turned their tail in the mire of their game problems.
However, according to one of Umbra4042's comments, the most notable bug was the one that Salvation Onslaught did not heal its users as it should, which is actually true. It is true that not only Destiny 2 - Episode Heresy but also it affects the Nether with the same problems. Besides, the Onslaught Salvation, which is now a 50-cycle wave, is the default mode, and the major fieldworks no longer prompt players at the table if it's still a soft lock issue.
To help the players, some of the potential solutions Bungie has come up with can be found in the section on Known Issues, for example, the soft lock issue from the Kell's Fall and the Major Fieldwork missions that still don't work. These problems can't be avoided, but the release date is muddying up the environment more and is thus resulting in a near-zero chance of recovery.
