Nobody Wants This: A Hilarious and Heartwarming Romcom You Can't Miss

If you're in the mood for a witty romcom that will leave you laughing and feeling warm inside, Nobody Wants This on Netflix is a must-watch.

The series, inspired by Erin Foster's life, follows the unexpected relationship between outspoken podcaster Joanne (Kristen Bell) and laid-back rabbi Noah (Adam Brody). Their families don't quite understand the pairing, creating plenty of hilarious and heartfelt moments throughout the 10-episode series. The story plays out with classic will-they-or-won't-they tension, and by the end, you'll be cheering for them to make it.

The show has all the makings of a great romcom. From the moment Joanne and Noah meet, their chemistry is palpable and fun. However, Noah faces a big obstacle: if he wants to become head rabbi, he's expected to marry a Jewish woman. This sets up the primary challenge in their budding romance.

The supporting cast also adds depth and humor, especially Justine Lupe, who plays Joanne's sharp-tongued sister, Morgan. Her witty comments and presence often steal the spotlight. The show is full of clever dialogue, with Joanne's funny remark about Noah's ex being a standout: "She broke her wrist for attention. Honestly, I respect the move."

But it's Adam Brody who truly shines as Noah, the so-called "Hot Rabbi." His charm and humor make him instantly likable, and his character is full of lovable quirks. Whether he's making sure hotel robes match or playfully commenting on cold weather and nipples, Noah is both endearing and funny. His involvement in a basketball team called the Matzah Ballers adds to his charm, making him a well-rounded character who's hard not to love.

Erin Foster has said that casting Brody as a rabbi was intentional: "Jewish girls deserve a hot rabbi to look up to." She based the character on her husband, describing him as someone who brings warmth and goodness to everyone around him.

With the possibility of a second season, Noah's story is far from over. As his brother, Sasha, says, "God speed, Hot Rabbi."
