What is Meteor Lake going to get from Intel?
In 2021, Intel announced its ambitious plan to release five process nodes within three years. Alder and Raptor Lake, which would have been constructed using the Intel 7 or 10nm process nodes, were supposed to go on sale in 2021 and 2022, respectively. Alder Lake marked the first time Intel's generation featured the new LITTLE.big split-core technology, which Raptor Lake subsequently improved upon.
When will the Intel 14th generation be released?

This would represent a substantial change from prior generations' custom of Intel delivering desktop chips first. This might be a big move because it's unusual for a mobile chip to be the first to hit the market.
Because of this, several people thought that laptops would be the only devices to use Meteor Lake CPUs. However, more recent information indicates that this won't be the case. Thus, it is anticipated that both desktop computers and laptops would support Intel's 14th generation. Linux has received an early addition of Meteor Lake-S (desktop CPU) capability, according to an update.
Is Meteor Lake being replaced by Arrow Lake?
There have been rumblings online that Meteor Lake would be postponed; if this is the case, what happens next?
According to the roadmap, Intel planned to release Meteor Lake in 2023 (most likely in the third or fourth quarter). However, if Meteor Lake is scrapped, Arrow Lake might replace it as Intel's 14th-generation CPU, which would indicate that the Intel 14th gen Arrow Lake CPU would be released by the end of 2023.
Since Arrow Lake is expected to be a year behind the 14th generation, we believe that a 2024 release date is more likely. It is unlikely that sufficient development has been achieved to enable the release of Arrow Lake CPUs a full year ahead of schedule.
The fact that Meteor Lake and Arrow Lake are built using various production procedures doesn't help. It's a huge jump to get from 10nm to 2nm in a year, with Meteor Lake best suited to the Intel 4 process (7nm) and Arrow Lake designed utilizing the 20A process (2nm).
