Corgis & Time Travel: Wonder Woman's Daughter 'Trinity' Leaps into Her Own Comic Series

DC Comics is doubling down on super-powered family drama with Trinity: Daughter of Wonder Woman, a new six-issue miniseries spinning out of Tom King's acclaimed Wonder Woman run. Debuting June 11, the series shifts the spotlight to Lizzie Prince, Diana's precocious daughter, as she unravels mysteries about her past—with a hefty dose of canine chaos.

Originally introduced in the main Wonder Woman series through enigmatic flashbacks framed by the villainous Sovereign's unsettling narration, Lizzie (aka Trinity) has become a breakout star via all-ages backup stories. These lighter tales, illustrated by Belén Ortega and written by King, showcased her bonding with Super Sons Jon Kent and Damian Wayne—think kite-flying with Kite Man, covert concert outings, and bedtime story swaps. Now, the fan-favorite trio returns in a standalone adventure ramping up the humor, heart, and time-travel antics.

The series sees Lizzie launching a high-stakes quest to uncover the identity of her mysterious father, diving headfirst into a timeline-hopping mission alongside alternate versions of herself. But chaos reigns when her meddling triggers a "Crisis of Infinite Corgis," dragging Jon and Damian into a furry frenzy. DC's synopsis promises "ruff" consequences as Lizzie balances her family search with wrangling an army of super-powered pups.

Art duties remain with Ortega, whose vibrant, kinetic style defined Lizzie's earlier escapades, while King leans into the comedic tone that distinguished the backups. "After exploring Diana's grit in the main series, Trinity lets us embrace fun and absurdity," King teased. "Lizzie's wit and the Super Sons' dynamic make this a ride parents and kids can enjoy together."

The miniseries also digs deeper into Trinity's unique powers—including her ability to wield three mystical Lassos of Truth—and her complicated ties to Sovereign, whose secrets may hold answers about her origins.

Trinity: Daughter of Wonder Woman #1 arrives June 11 with a main cover by Ortega and variants from fan favorites Dan Hipp, Dan Mora, and more. Colors by Tamra Bonvillain and lettering by Clayton Cowles complete the creative team, ensuring Lizzie's debut solo arc is as visually bold as her mother's iconic legacy.
