'Nine Perfect Strangers' Season 2: Release Date, Cast and What to Know

Nicole Kidman is back as the enigmatic guru Masha Dmitrichenko in Season 2 of "Nine Perfect Strangers," but this time, she's trading the California coast for the breathtaking, yet isolating, Austrian Alps. Nine unsuspecting strangers are about to embark on what they believe is a transformative wellness retreat, but they are soon to discover that Masha's methods push them far beyond their comfort zones.

Premiering on Hulu, Season 2 promises a deep dive into the psyche of these characters, as Masha challenges her guests to confront their deepest desires and hidden traumas. The idyllic mountain setting belies the intense emotional and psychological journey awaiting them, as they seek happiness and self-improvement. Hulu teases that Masha's own past demons will resurface, threatening not only her own well-being but also the progress of her guests.

Based on the novel by Liane Moriarty, also the author of "Big Little Lies," which similarly starred Kidman, the second season will explore themes of healing, connection, and the lengths people will go to find inner peace. Will Masha's unconventional methods lead to enlightenment, or will they push her guests past the breaking point?

Mark your calendars! The first two episodes of "Nine Perfect Strangers" Season 2 will be available on Hulu starting Wednesday, May 21. Subsequent episodes will be released weekly on Wednesdays, offering a slow-burn exploration of the characters and their intertwined fates.

To watch the series, you'll need a Hulu subscription. Hulu offers a range of plans to suit your needs, with and without live TV options. New users can often take advantage of a free trial.
